Many months ago, I heard a rumor that Jackery, a top portable power station brand, was going out of business.
And while I have no inside information and no way to verify it, I thought I’d give my opinion on the matter since I’ve seen it come up a few times since then and I believe I know why.
Is Jackery Going Out of Business?
Jackery is not going out of business, based on basic research I have done and based on the company’s actions.
The Origins of the Rumor
In August 2023, I noticed at least one scam website advertising using an identical website to Jackery.com.
They were using paid ads acting like Jackery and sending you to a very similar website, but not the official Jackery.com
In fact, in August 2023, I contacted Jackery, letting them know because this scam website was advertising EVERYWHERE.
Gmail ads, google search ads, etc, all with “Jackery 95% Off!” and various other phrasing.
When you clicked the ad, the website looked exactly like Jackery.com, but the prices were insanely low. I don’t have a screenshot, but it was about $30 for a Jackery 1000 that normally sells over $800.
It’s clear to most that this was a scam, but unsavvy consumers seem to have fallen for it a few times.
Because the website offered 95% off products, people thought it was a liquidation or “going out of business” sale.
Instead, it was a scam.
Tips to Identify Authentic Jackery Products and Offers

Evaluating Jackery’s Current Business
Without being inside a company and seeing their financial statements, there isn’t anyway to know for sure if a company is going out of business.
However, Jackery is a top power station brand and is staying on top of current trends.
In Fall 2023, they released a line of LiFePO4 power stations, including a Jackery 300 LiFePO4, expanding their product line to compete with Ecoflow LiFePO4 and other Jackery alternatives.
